Did I still ovulate?

Question

So I took an ovulation test and it said peak, but my temperature didn’t spike yet. 
Did I still ovulate? Or not? 
Also, when I did the test I didn’t like pee on it for 10/15seconds it was less and I got a peak reading. 
So the question is, even without the spike in temperature, did I ovulate or not?

Answer

You should ovulate 24-36hrs after you get a positive OPK (LH test). If you get a spike in temp it would occur after ovulation. However, it is possible to not get a spike in temp at all. Keep temping and check out fertility friends chart variations, it’s super helpful. Personally I would get a designated collection cup for tests to ensure your submerging it the recommended time and not going past the max line (if your brand has that).
