I’m 19+4 with my eighth baby. Things have been extremely stressful and overwhelming since before we found out about this little surprise. It took me weeks to not be in denial about the pregnancy, more weeks to accept it and even more weeks to be ok with it. I just finally had ‘my moment’ where I am finally excited about it! I’ve known it’s a girl for a few weeks now but just now, as I was loading the dishwasher, I had this GOOD overwhelming feeling, a joyous excitement, come over me as I said out loud ‘I’m having a daughter!’ This will be my fifth daughter, but I am finally excited about my pregnancy! It might not be a big deal to most people, but this is a day for celebration for me! Break out the sparkling apple juice! 🍾
