Should I worry?

My daughter has had a cold and cough for a little over a week. Yesterday she had some blood in her runny boogers and today she had a full on nose bleed. Are nose bleeds normal during a cold. She is 5.

Hi, when you have a cold your nasal passage becomes inflamed, which makes them more likely to rupture. As she’s  had the cold for a week now, her nose bleed will be as a result of the continued inflammation. The blood in the booger’s is from when tiny vessels rupture.

I think it’s normal but I’d definitely call the doctor. If you don’t have a humidifier in her room yet, I’d recommend doing so
