When to take your child trick or treating?

When’s an acceptable age to take your child trick or treating?? My daughter is going to be 11 months almost 1 (her birthday is November 5th) and I’m not sure if it would be okay to take her trick or treating so when did you guys start taking your kids trick or treating??
