Any other toddler moms?

I feel terrible, but my 2.5 year old is making me insane since her new brother arrived. I know this is really hard for her, and I know she is frustrated and confused, but I dread her coming home from daycare because of the non stop tantrums. I want to bond with my newborn, and she is not helping.

🙋🏻‍♀️ me! I also have. 2.5 year old. I’ve actually been more upset about not spending enough time with her since I get plenty of bonding time with the new baby. I try to get as much time with her while she’s home and baby’s sleeping.

I have my 3.5 year old and he has his tantrums but I have him help me with his little sister like with diapers and shaking/prepping her bottle, when she’s asleep I try to play with him and he was calm. The other night he was having a tantrum my boyfriend didn’t know what to do and I just sat there and colored with him for a while till he got tired and over it... I feel bad because he wants me to pick him up but i can’t still and it hurts me... can’t wait to recover so I can carry him and play with him the way I did before my baby was born. Love bonding with her as well but I miss bonding with my toddler, wishing his tantrums could stop soon. Some just need the same attention they got before so they don’t feel like they are being replaced, they probably just miss that comfort, warmth, and love that us mothers give to them.. that’s just my opinion/thought...

I’m having the exact same problem! Wishing I could afford daycare so that I could have a break and so my daughter and I could bond as I did with him instead of running around telling him no all day!!🤷‍♀️

My daughter will be 3 in December and I’ve had to send her to her room countless times due to her being too rough around our newborn or throwing tantrums when I am tending to the babes. I know she is trying to help but she doesn’t listen when we tell her she has to be careful or she can’t do certain things. I’ve been incorporating her into things I do with the baby, if I change her I tell her “it’s time for a diaper change wanna watch?” Or “baby’s hungry, wanna cuddle while she nurses?” & so on. It’s a process but the tantrums have been less since bringing her through the waves instead of telling her she has to wait. Good luck momma & congratulations ❤️

I have a 2 almost 3 yr old and she’s been very clingy and needy since I had my son 2 weeks and 4 days ago. Her tantrums have gotten worse as well, I also have a 4 yr old that has been a lot more clingy too and she’s normally a very independent child but now it’s like her and her little sister just want to be stuck up my butt all the time since baby brother has been born.

I don't have a toddler, but my son just turned 5 and he has been off the chain since August. He started in a GA Pre-K program then, right before brother came. Now that brother is here, it's even worse. He got sent home today for throwing chairs, hitting, and cussing. I'm at a loss on what to do with him.

I have a 15 month old who is reaching temper tantrum age and is also driving me nuts but I am a SAHM and she is used to it just being her and I. I feel so bad for her but she has been really testing my patience. It is hard for me to know what to do to help her feel less frustrated or even how to give her a time out with a baby hanging on my boob all day. Things will get better I know especially when he is a month or two older and not completely glued to me.
