Private adoption issues?

How in the world do you even have a private adoption in a state that has made it illegal to advertise your intent to adopt..? I’m at a complete loss.. 😔

Texas it is illegal to advertise same as most states. So how we do it is you have to go around it by advertising without paying money. We made a profile page on Facebook and we joined adoption groups and post our profile there. We also advertise on Craigslist in the general section and we use Pinterest. It is not easy but it is do able. We have been waiting for over a year.
