I had one and didn’t stop spotting/bleeding for 6 months. At that point I was sick of it and just had it removed.

I bled for a month. Then it stopped for 2 months and my first period on it was 2 weeks. And then I didn't have a period for a year!

I think I spotted for 2-2 1/2 months.
