Does your baby respond to their name??

Like how consistently should they be responding to their name at 6 months? My LO will only look when I say his name if he is literally not distracted by anything and it’s starting to worry me.. anyone else? Opinions? Maybe I’m just overly concerned

Mine responds on and off. Not consistently at all. Started to think she’s responding when I say it in diff tone because she’s fascinated by the sound more than her name.

Mostly ignores us. Especially when he’s busy with something or fascinated by other stuff.

My pediatrician told us they usually know their name and respond by 9 months. We were concerned too because he does and then he doesn’t. So you good mama! Just distracted by this big world around them

It's hard to tell. I'm not sure if shes responding to her name or just the sound of my voice. 
I went to pick her up at daycare and she definitely followed my voice 🤣 but I swear shes so nosey and inquisitive she never responds to her name

My LO is more likely to respond to his name if his Dad or big brother says it 🤦‍♀️ but I think that's because he spends all day with me.
