I know my doctor is my best information source but we all know sometimes doctors can get it wrong.

I just need an opinion on what I believe to be a wrong dosage.

I started on 50mg of clomid and for two cycles I successfully got pregnant one right after another. Unfortunately they both resulted in miscarriage so I went back to my fertility consultant expecting to get something different to take along with the 50mg of clomid to increase my chances of STAYING pregnant. Unfortunately he wouldn’t prescribe me anything to help and when I asked about progesterone being prescribed in drug, cream or suppository form he said there was no evidence supporting that it would help me.

So instead he upped my dosage of clomid to 100mg. I’ve had one cycle and have not ovulated at all now so I’m starting to believe the dosage is too high for me seen as 50mg worked just fine.

Anyone had anything similar where the dosage went too high and possibly stopped the clomid from working?

All he could say was my possibility of having multiples would increase but it wouldn’t change the fact that I’m having recurrent miscarriages
