Coming home from hospital outfits - winter babies

Hi all, I know we are still several months away but just starting to think about how to dress a newborn when they are coming home from the hospital in the winter? I’m due 2/2/2020 and live in Seattle. The weather that time of year could be anywhere from the 30-50s. Last year at this time it snowed 13 inches and other years it has been super mild. What is the best way to dress your newborn to get home from the hospital? Onesie underneath footed pajamas with a blanket for over the legs the car seat? With a hat socks and gloves too? Also how many newborn outfits do you bring to the hospital? I’m assuming at least a few since we’ll be there for 2+ days depending on how the delivery goes. Just trying to get some ideas and build my confidence! First time mama here. Thanks in advance!
