Help period won't start!

I'm in middle of ttc. I had a miscarriage on June 5th. I've had 2 periods since then. One in July and one in August. I was ready to start fertility meds but I had cysts so doctor put me on bc for 3 weeks. My last period was August 14th. I took the bc day 3 into my period as instructed by doctor. My period was 4 days long. I started to bleed again on August 30th. Started off spotting then turned into what felt like a period. Bled for 9 days. Some days heavy some light. Well I was expecting period to start again Sept 12-14. Im over 2 weeks late. This isnt my normal. I'm wondering if it doesnt start in a week or so I should call my doctor? I have no idea what's going on with my body. I'm ready to start these fertility meds but I can't until I get my period! I just want to get pregnant so badly! Any idea what could be the issue? The doctor made it sound like I'd start my period right away after coming off the bc after 3 weeks of use. I've just never been this late so I'm a little worried. My last two periods after miscarriage were pretty normal so no idea whats going on unless the bc pills are to blame? Also I should note theres no possibility of pregnancy.
