Recently been struggling to plan our wedding. We decided to scrap all the "it HAS to be this way" thoughts and runoff to the mountains. We are going near Gatlinburg and renting a huge cabin for us, our party, and some family to stay in. Getting married in the cabin, have a celebration in the cabin, and just spending time together. We won't gt a formal honeymoon because of work schedules but we will make up for that at another time. Problem is his family is making a fuss because it's 9hrs away, I had some family say they couldn't guarantee making it, but his is throwing a fit saying there's no way we or they will have the money etc, when it's cheaper for us to do this than "traditional". I've said my peace but they are still trying to convince him. (he's @ work so we are texting) I don't want to hurt everyone's feelings but this takes SO much stress off me and it's perfect for what we were dreaming up while still being under our 5,000 budget. How do I word this nicely lol. I just need uplifting encouragement I guess, this stuff is so much more hard because of everyone else than it should be.

TLDR; planning my wedding fiances family is throwing a fit because it's too far away.
