My husband is an actor and has a big movie coming out on Thanksgiving. He just told me the premiere date and it’s squarely week fifteen — so I’m not going to look pregnant-pregnant yet but I am going to look chonkyyyyyyy. I also wasn’t planning on going public with the pregnancy until after the twenty-week scan, for both personal and professional reasons (we had a pregnancy loss week 14 this winter) but I know there’s going to be a million photos of this event all over our friends’ social media (we’re also pals with the director, etc.) I think I found a dress on Hatch that lives between edgy/cool and maternity and I’m going to get like nineteen hours of hair and make-up but FIFTEEN WEEKS? That’s the rudest time for a photo (this is my second kid). Any tips for when you guys had to dress up around that time?
