Bring my LO to baby shower?

Question

I have a baby shower coming up this weekend and everyone wants me to bring my son who will be 7 months. I'm nervous to bring him around so many people at once, germs and viruses worry me.
He hasn't had his 6 month shots yet as we moved to a new city and have had a hard time scheduling an appointment for him.
Should I bring him or leave him at home with Hubby?

I took my baby to 2 baby showers at 3 weeks old. A professional baseball game at 4 weeks old. He’s was and is totally fine. Ask people to wash their hands and not lick his face. I’m sure he’ll be also be fine.

I wouldnt if you know he's just going to get passed around. If I wore my daughter the entire at our nieces 7th year old part in july because I didn't want many people touching and getting in her face. 
Plus it's the start of the flu season and all the fall/winter colds that people are starting to get sick from. 
And you get some time by yourself.

I personally would not....for a few different reasons. Like you said, he isn’t up to date with vaccines and - idk if you are planning on him getting it or not - he hasn’t had the flu shot either. It seems like he would ended up getting passed around a lot too and I can’t handle that with my LO lol. Also, it might be a good opportunity for you to have some time for yourself!

My daughter goes where I go. If the person I’m celebrating is important to me I make time. If your baby has already been vaccinated prior (which they usually do every 2 months) he has some level of procreation that should give you peace. 
I personally always have hand sanitizer like those little clip on travel ones & I ask if they’d mind just lathering that a bit before I give the baby over. But that was when she was like 2 months. She’s crawling now so germs, literally everywhere can’t escape it.

I would bring mine. I always ask people to wash their hands and not kiss him. I personally don’t want to keep my baby in the house all the time. Germs are good for the immune system. You could always let everyone know you aren’t comfortable with passing him around but they are more then welcome to come to where your sitting to visit with him? But you are the mom! You do what is more comfortable to you! :)
