In November 2018 I became very ill, and my doctors thought I had porphyria. During that time I was taken off of birth control because it could cause an attack. I started taking birth control again, probably around late August/early September but I've had sexual intercourse with two people, and used an emergency contraceptive. In August I had my menses, and everything was fine. Last night I started my menses, and saw this, and I don't know what to think. Is it an embryo or uterine lining? I made an appointment to see my gynecologist tomorrow, but this photo is all I have. And yes, I made sure to wash my hands a lot.
