Nervous about size of follicles during IVF Stimulation

Angels

So I started stimming Saturday Sept 21st with anticipation of egg retrieval tomorrow the 2nd. I have 1 ovary with a beginning antral follicle count of 13. At 39.10 years of age, I am really happy for this. So yesterday I had 7 follicles 18mm or greater so thought I would trigger as scheduled. To my surprise I was advised to do meds another night. Today I still have only 7 mature eggs but now I have 3 that are > 21mm and 4> 18mm. Again assumed I would trigger tonight but just found out they want me to stim 1 more night in hopes to get more mature eggs.

Now I completely trust my doctor but still find myself nervous that we will over stim and lose more eggs than we will gain. I read a study that found that those with follicle sizes 12-19mm on night of trigger were more likely to produce the most mature eggs. Letting them be too small likely wont respond to trigger and too large they may not accept fertilization.

Are there any ladies out there that know what their follicle sizes were the day of trigger and how many eggs were fertilized as a result?

Staying positive all will go well!
