have you ever been ghosted?

Question

For people who don’t know what ghosting means, it mean someone just stops contacting you with no explanation 
how did you guys get over it? 
why did you decide to ghost somebody?

I had a “friend” who kept trying to get involved in my relationship and after repeatedly talking to her I finally “ghosted” her and Liek went off the grid. Didn’t talk to her, avoided her in person, till she was no longer in my life. She wasn’t a very good friend in the first place so it wasn’t a loss.

why would anyone ghost anybody? i feel like it’s so cruel unless you’ve literally tried everything else to get them out of your life

Yep ive been ghosted. When i caught up with the guy 2 weeks later (bumped into him on a night out) he blatantly lied about it claiming he had to see his sick child in hospital overseas so he dropped everything and caught a flight and had just got back. Only thing was is after he ghosted me my friend did some research and found out his ex wife and their kids had moved over here and lived in a city only 10miles away. His daughter was in a primary school there and had been in a local newspaper after winning a recycling award. She also found out that he owns a small office in a business district which his ex runs a small ebay buying and selling business from so i threw it all back in his face. Poor guy was speechless for once.

Oh ya plenty of times.. this one guy I was talking to for a couple months kept blowing me off and then he stood me up and I freaked tf out he never replied but read it come to find out he had a girlfriend the whole time. 
The second one is my ex we were best friends and talked as best friends for 6+ years and about a couple months ago he just stopped answering me and completely ignored me

U just get over it with time🤷🏼‍♀️
