Listen to your gut

About a week ago I posted about how my mother knowing she was sick or getting over being sick came down to watch my son while I gave birth and got him sick. Fast forward a week and I’m sitting in a children’s hospital with my 14 day old baby because she is very sick. I knew something hasn’t been right these last couple of days and today our pediatrician sent us to the children’s hospital. She tested positive for RSV, which in adults is not that bad but to a new born with no immune system it’s bad. I’m glad I went and got her checked out, who knows what would have happened if I didn’t listen to my gut telling me something was wrong.
