Misoprostol expelled from canal

Took mifopristone, and 24 hours later took the 4 misoprostol vaginally. A few hours later, some pill residue had turned up on the liner. I initially inserted the 4 pills as far as my finger would allow, and when the residue showed I tried pushing them in father. Has this happened to anyone else? It's been 9 hours since I took it, and the only symptoms experienced are cramps a bit stronger than my period on and off. (About 7/10 pain at their strongest) Any advice or similar experiences with an accompanying outcome would be very much appreciated
