Formula feeding moms; do you use tap water?

I use boiled tap water. The book given to us by my doctors says to do that until baby is 4 months old. I'll probably continue to do so until 6 or or 9 months by preference

I was told by my pediatrician that I can use purified water if I don’t have the nursery water.

I have a brita pitcher so I filter my own water through that. And there is a light indicator when we need to replace the filter

With my first I boiled the tap water. This time I’m buying baby water jugs. We’re having a health crisis in my area and they aren’t sure yet what’s causing it so none of us drink from the tap.
