Please advise me.

I went in for my first prenatal ultrasound at 11 weeks to the OB/ gyne that I was seeing for the first time in my life.

a- 2 weeks later when I asked the office for the ultrasound report, the response was that we don’t make report for an office ultrasound. The after visit summary contains no notes on the baby’s health or measurements etc. simply a note stating - - continue to take Prenatal’s.

B- doctor said everything is great and normal.

Fast forward, my next ultrasound was at 20 weeks, anatomical scan. In between, I was seeing a different OB/ gyne / hospital because I was battling the yeast and vaginal infections and also was in the process of deciding in between one of the two hospitals. Today at 20 weeks at the same facility as the one at 11 weeks, I was told that my baby gal has anencephaly with zero survival rate. I am so angry because the 11 weeks image that I am looking at clearly shows that the baby’s skull is open. Wtf!!!

My loss- I would have gone through the termination at 11 weeks in a breath. Because I was so down with all day nausea and all that worry that I did not feel so bonded with the baby yet.

Also, i have gained 10 pounds or more since then and showing a big bump.

Now, I cannot get the image of my gal’s long bony legs and frisk fingers out of my head. Same with my husband. The doctor gave me the image of her left leg 🦵 with the foot that looks like she is wearing a soccer shoe. It’s so unbearable right now. I am so mad at this OB/ gyne for being so careless.

And I have to disclose this sad news to my parents and in- laws. I cannot even imagine how sad my mom would be coz this would have been her first grand child.

And most importantly, the time lost in being able to TTC again.

The whole period between 11-21 weeks leaves me with fewer options and much more to grieve about.

That’s why I am thinking of a lawsuit against the OB/ gyne.

Did anyone had a negative clearblue test(not digital) but was actually pregnant
