Period after a miscarriage

I had a surgical miscarriage on the 23rd august and I bled for about nearly three weeks but was hardly anything in the last week.

Yesterday I went to the loo and had some blood when I wiped and it looked like I was getting my period. It was enough to maybe fill a teaspoon. Come today and nothing.

I’m confused. It is normal after nearly 6 weeks only get this much?

I would not normally worry but me and my partner want to try again and can’t until I have a period.

Anyone care to help me out?
