Laparoscopic surgery for possible septated uterus or IVF egg retrieval first?

I need to decide if I should go for the egg retrieval first in early Nov or get the laparoscopic surgery first which will push back the egg retrieval until end of Feb which is my clinic's next

cycle. I'm already 41 yrs old.

Retrieval first if age is a concern- depends why do you need lap for- ie is there reason to believe that your ovaries are compromised due to endo or anything else?
Lap wasn’t bad but it can keep you or delay retrieval’s which may be more age dependent than your lap

I had laparoscopic surgery for an endometrial cyst on my ovary and uterine polyp. They had me do (2x!) egg retrieval first in case there was any damage to the ovary in surgery. Find out if that’s a risk for you. Good luck!
