Kids with 2nd or 3rd cousin?

Just found out a friend of mine is related to her husband. Not sure the exact relation, but his dad is brothers with her grandpa, I believe (help on classifying?) 
How do you feel about this? Not trying to pass judgement, but I found it a little odd.

I think it’s big weird.
I’m from California and we do NOT marry cousins out here, no matter how distantly related haha.
I don’t think there’s any way that can be good for genetics. 
I may have opinions, but I wouldn’t say anything to them. They are adults who made a choice!

It’s legal in most states now. Maybe because genetically it’s not an issue.

Well every state has a law regarding marrying cousins. It's weird to us but not necessarily to everyone else and a certain length of a way down the gene pool and you don't have deformities or anything when you have children. Used to live in California. While my cousins didnt, marry my great aunt married my grandfather. Freaking weird ass time for my family.

My ex’s parents were like 3rd cousins and they knew from the beginning. Each one of their kids have major health issues because of it

My grandmothers cousin couldn't have kids so she adopted kids and her adopted daughter had a son and we have been dating for over a year LOL I still always feel weird about it or telling people how we met but we aren't blood so🤷🏼‍♀️ but i think in that situation is definitely weird if they share the same blood line.

I have a 5th cousin who tried telling me we werent really cousins by blood and he's wanted to fuck me since he met me. Still creeped me out cuz I grew up calling that side cousins. And yeah never happened and we don't talk anymore. I wasn't rude to him...but I could never do that you know?

I’m just gonna put this here for those of you who think there’s a big risk genetically for 2nd or 3rd cousins to marry. It’s definitely taboo but not a genetic problem.
