Job out of state

My husband has a huge spending problem. Over the course of 6 years he’s racked up 20k on his credit cards.

Tuesday he come home from work and tells me he’s been talking to a company in Georgia who called him about a job. We live in Pennsylvania. They said he could potentially make 80k/yr and maybe get a sign on bonus. He tells me that we’re canceling plans for the wedding we were going to this weekend and driving to Georgia for a job interview Monday. He can’t understand why I’m flipping out on him. He says we can sell our house, wipe out the debt and he can have a higher paying job.

I don’t know what to do. This is the first time in our 8 years of marriage where I don’t know if I can do this. Move across the country because he wants instant resolve for his spending problem.

All I ever saw was us having a family with my family around and now I might have to do it completely alone with no one around. 😔 He won’t listen to me. I’ve shut down and excepting the losing battle.
