We just added breakfast to the baby’s schedule at daycare.

They are supposed to feed her cereal 2 hours after her first bottle of the day and then her second bottle 2 hours after that. But some days daycare isn’t giving her her second one until sometimes 3 hours after cereal. And if cereal is also delayed.. it’s pushed back even further.

We try and do dinner too, but with her bottle feeding time getting pushed back some days... it’s hard to fit that in to make sure she is getting enough breast milk..

What are you ladies doing when this occurs? Just reduce the amount of breast milk in the second to last bottle of the day before dinner? Not give her the dinner meal at all?

I know breast milk needs to be the main source of nutrition, but she also sleeps so much better with the meal a few hours before her bedtime bottle. I know daycare does their best and some days just get away from them... it’s fine but I just don’t know how to handle when this happens to keep her on the same schedule and not over feed her at night.
