Healing, rejecting, or too much salt?

Hey guys, I’ve had this piercing since late June early July, and it’s not healing too well. It’s lookin a bit worse today.

It gets a bit irritated since I am kinda chubby (so it rubs) but it’s not looking too hot. Any tips? Do you think it’s rejecting? Too much salt in my water?

this is pierced so wrong! the ball should be in the bellybutton. its most likely rejecting and i would suggest going to a better piercer to take it out asap

go talk to a licensed professional piercer. don’t go to the same place where u got it pierced

Girl I would just take that out honestly and get it redone when it’s healed. For one I agree that it’s pierced in the complete wrong spot, which could contribute to some of your healing issues as well. The bottom ball of a belly button piercing is supposed to come out pretty much in your belly button. Another thing is that is looks SUPER irritated. Are you measuring your salt ratio to water? To me it looks extremely dry so you are probably using way too much salt. Irritating it isn’t helping but it also isn’t causing all of your issues. Go back to your piercer and have them take a look at it because it could also be infected.

I would take photos, post them online, leave a bad review and demand a refund. I don’t mean this rudely because it isn’t really your fault, but that is the worst done Nelly piercing I have ever seen. The location is soo far off, its not even touching your belly button? It most likely will not ever heal as it’s literally just a skin piercing .. highly recommend taking it out, letting it heal & getting it redone in the right place by a different piercer.

I’m amazed that a professional did this!!!! You’re supposed to pierce through the bottom of the top part of the belly button, this is like in the middle of your stomach! What even!!!! Girl you better take that out and go get an actually belly button piercing from a reputable place. Whoever did this HAD to be on some shit , I have never seen anything like this!!!

Try to find online piercing healing oil just like that one trust me it works I  used salt and water and my piercing got infected as soon I found this I helped a lot I would recommend that
