I would put it back against the wall so had more open room in living room

I feel like it would look better against the wall facing the kitchen but the way you have it now makes more sense w/ the tv placement. I’m sorry I’m no help, I’ve changed the configuration of my living room furniture like 5 or 6 times in the 3 years we’ve lived in our house due to pets, new tv, & my toddler!

If you want it/people centered around the tv, I would leave it where it is. If that’s now important, then I would put it against the wall facing the kitchen.
