To anyone reading this...

If a girl who is 17 is dating a guy who is roughly 23 in California be considered illegal?? More so specifically if he has pressured her in engaging in sexual acts against her word but letting him do it? No intercourse happened and it’s been 3 years since this happened and no longer have contact with each other (he moved away).

Basically can this guy still go to jail if it happened 3 years ago? He’s been in jail once not sure of what (not rape) and also lied his age pretending to be 20.
