Hi all. Hoping someone is going through or went through what i am. I’m not sure what to think I went to the doc yesterday and they did my first ultra sound I thought I was 7w based on my LMP But the baby measured 5w 5d and they said there isn’t a heat beat but that that was normal for the age of the baby. I went early after having some spotting that was getting a little more frequent but only pink or brown in color, prior to getting pregnant I was told I had a cervical polyp I was going to have it biopsied but we opted to pap it instead because it’s an “active bleeder” (the pap came back normal ) now that I’m pregnant and they did the exam and internal ultra sound yesterday they really poked at it and prodded so much so that I was bleeding pretty severely when I got home from doc office as well as when I wad there. The doc said my cervix was closed and to repeat scan in a week to check on baby and it could go either way but that the most of the blood was from the polyp as it is HUGE and is covering half of the opening of my cervix. They can’t remove it because it’s too flat and large and the base is fused to my cervix pretty well. The bleeding is less today but still like a period called nurse and she said I can come in again to see if the cervix is open or closed and maybe see if they can check my levels to see if this is a miscarriage or just this polyp bleeding. I’m terrified to go to the bathroom or every time I feel wetness down there this is such a nerve wracking experience and I could use some advice or moral support. Additionally any stores of heavy bleeding after an exam or polyps or people who had everything be ok with the baby would be helpful to hear. Ps I have no cramps at all. Just like intermittent gas pain or a dull like period cramp but again they very heavily manipulated me in there yesterday and I’m VERY tiny all the way around .
