Twins?

Has anyone here had twins without them running in your family or having fertility treatments? My husband keeps joking around that we're going to have twins and I realistically know that's not very likely. It just made me curious if anyone else had twins when they dont have the genetics or treatments that cause you to be more likely to have twins. Thanks!

Yes. I conceived naturally and just found out I am pregnant with identical twins! Such a shock! Identical twins don’t run in your family so it was totally random! It can happen!

We’ve had so many comments made to us in the last year about us having twins I’m on edge for our ultrasound 😬 we feel like it’s a serious possibility now even though the odds are super low haha!

Yes it is still possible to have twins without fertility treatment or them running in your family. I know a woman who had identical twin boys her first pregnancy without having it in either of their families. It just happens when nature decides I’m afraid 🤷🏻‍♂️
