Has anyone taken Metformin for high fasting glucose numbers? Did it help? All my after meals/daytime numbers are great, I just struggle with fasting. My Dr. suggested insulin will work the fastest, but I am only 16 weeks and do not want to give myself insulin shots this whole pregnancy... so she said Metformin was better than doing nothing... I am hoping some ladies have success stories?
