How long after a miscarriage can you try again?

Hello, I have sadly experienced my first loss of a baby. I had successfully had one beautiful babygirl 19months ago. Now lost one at 5 weeks pregnant. How long are you supposed to wait before trying again?

Its advised to wait until you've had a period so it is easier to date the pregnancy. I don't have a regular cycle so I started trying after I stopped bleeding (I bled for 5 weeks) because I cant use periods to date a pregnancy anyway. Really it depends on when you're ready to try again.
