Postpartum anxiety and food
I am suffering from some PPA and need some advice...
My daughter is one. Basic6 we've done BLW/combo feeding. But weve Lways cut thin skinny slices. Nothing "thick" like little thin rectangles kinda size. Mini-thin strips..
I'm so nervous to give her anything and I feel like I'm holding her developmentally back..
How can I go about giving bigger chunks.
I csnt even do foods like these...I'm so nervous. Today Is my day off and I took her for a visit at my work. A co worker asked if she liked crackers and I said she hasnt tried a t yet. She asked if it was okay... I said yeah, she does have 2 kids and 3 grandkids so I trusted her that that was actually actually okay. It was a breton cracker she broke in half. At first I took it and was going to let her bite it but she wanted to hold it, I didnt wanna come a across as paranoid because I knew I was, and let her eat it.
she was FIIINE.. I knew I was just anxious, but I knew I trusted them that that was normal size. It was, she ate the cracker so well...just reflecting on my parenting and feeling guilty about hindering her skills.. any advice??
She is 12.5 months old bd has 6 teeth. Edit to add, I do have my CPR. Had it for years and before I gave birth we had another course. I'm just that nervous.
