Can a 5 month old open presents?

I'm trying to figure out if I should wrap my sons Christmas presents or not because I do want him to open them but idk for his age if he will be able too. He was a preemie so hes currently 5 months right now but for his corrected age he would be 5 months in December. What do you think?

He might pull at one or two, but wont have any idea what hes actually doing. 
You can still wrap them, just sit him in your lap and unwrap for him.

My daughter was 6 months on Christmas and we wrapped hers but left bigger areas open and helped her, she really enjoyed ripping the paper & shaking her presents out of the wrapping paper!💜

For my daughter I brought a large Christmas sack and put them in there so she could pull them out.
She's just had her first birthday (yesterday) and unwrapped most of her presents/ripped the majority of the paper off.

Sure! He can try. I wrapped my sons and put some in bags too. I ended up unwrapping most lol but he enjoyed getting the tissue paper out of the bags.
