Signs of carrying multiples?

This is my 3rd pregnancy. I have a boy and a girl. I’m currently 8 weeks and a couple days and so far  I’ve been feeling a lot more cramping and my hips have been feeling very open. We don’t have an ultrasound scheduled for many weeks but does this sound like I could be carrying twins? Twins do run in my family.

No. The only sign of carrying multiples is seeing more than one baby on the ultrasound.

The only real sign I had was around 10wks (did t have my first ultrasound until 11wks).  my uterus was extremely high for gestational age of one baby. It was supposed to be down in my pelvis, but was already to my belly button. Considering this was my 5th pregnancy, I knew it would show sooner, but there was no other explanation as to why it was THAT big, when the baby was the size of a cherry! Lol

My friend had absolutely no signs that she was carrying twins. She didn’t even have any morning sickness. I had more symptoms of pregnancy than she did with my singleton than she did with her twins. My belly was also bigger than hers until about 25 weeks and we have a very similar body type.
