Two ER Visits In One Day - 36...8 Weeks 5 Days

Sharmaine

So we suffered a miscarriage back in April. I had my first ultrasound done for this pregnancy at 7 weeks and baby’s heart rate was 131, but they told me I had two blood clots under the placenta and that I needed to take it easy (no strenuous activity).

Saturday morning I woke up to this horrible pain in my upper back every time I breathed, coughed, sneezed and it seemed to be worst once I got out of bed and started moving around. I go the the ER and first they thought I had pneumonia from the X-ray so they performed a CT scan and that showed no pneumonia so they diagnosed me with bronchitis.

I get home about 3:30 I start to feel like something is about to gush out of my Vagina I rush to the bathroom and I pass a decent size blood clot. Now I’m bleeding lightly and I’m feeling some discomfort in my abdomen. I’m thinking why didn’t this happen while I was at the hospital. After a few hours I make my way back to the ER and they do a ultrasound. Baby appeared to be ok measuring right where baby needs to be at 8 weeks and 4 days and the heart rate was 171. The doctor tells me it seems that I passed one of the clots that was underneath the placenta, but there’s one more left and it’s slightly bigger than it was at 7 weeks so it will need to be monitored. Thanking God that everything appears to be ok with baby so far because lord knows I was a nervous wreck. Praying that things continue to progress.
