Fecal impaction?

Sorry for TMI 
But last Wednesday I was diagnosed with a fecal impaction and was given laxatives. I came away for a long weekend Thursday night hoping the laxatives would help but they havnt, I’m now 4 days into having laxatives and nothing happening I am in SO much pain. Has this happened to anyone else and any tips to help ???? 😭😭😭

I found that sitting on toliet, with cheeks spread- slowly rocking back and forth is effective for me..

It's uncomfortable but if you're that many days without a bowel movement you need to use a suppository or an enema or get a glove and dig it out. Fecal impaction can be dangerous if not dealt with timely.

I took milk of magnesia. Try also massaging the area down there. I sort of had to pull it out because it was so bad! 
I finally started daily Metamucil and it made me regular again.

Yes with my daughter. And when it did come out it was extremely painful. Maybe talk to your doctor about using a stool softener too?
