Has anyone tried the Shettles Method??

Question

Has anyone tried the Shettles Method To determine the sex of their baby? This method basically says have sex 2 to 4 days before ovulation you’ll have a girl and the day before and day of ovulation you’ll have a boy. Girl (X) sperm live longer but swim slower and boy (Y) sperm have a shorter life span but swim faster..     
This method has a 75% Success rate.
I’m just curious to know who has tried it and if it worked for you!!

I haven't tried this but always found it interesting until I heard about the Whelan method which says almost the exact opposite of the Shettles method and they can't BOTH be true lol. 
I'd be happy just to be able to have a healthy baby, and I think if you're not actually bothered which sex you have then there's no harm in seeing if it "works". 
It also doesn't account for men who don't carry the female gene sperm.

This method has been disproven multiple times since the 1960s. There is no way to determine the sex of the baby unless you do ivf.

I tried it for a girl. I had sex 4 days before ovulation and it worked. Or maybe it worked. Who knows what it was but I did have a girl after 2 boys.
