Help! Breast pumps??

I’m looking at breast pumps covered by my insurance but have no idea which to get. Any suggestions?

I had the Medela Freestyle and Spectra S2. Hands down, 100%, 10/10 always recommend the Spectra S2.
After pumping with two babies it is by far the better pump. Quieter, more effective, and much less painful.
The Medela letdown feature felt like it was going to rip my nipples off.
Trying both pumps on the same day, the Spectra S2 drained my breasts so much more effectively.
BONUS, the Spectra S2 is a closed system, so you never have to worry about milk in the lines and mold growth in the pump. The Medela is not a closed system.

Spectra is a closed system meaning less parts to take apart and clean. There’s also an option for one that has a rechargeable battery (it was a $50 upgrade for us but insurance covered the rest of the cost). Go to a store (medical supply store) and talk to the people there that work with them so you can determine what your needs and wants are compared to what the pumps have to offer.

I have a PISA and Spectra s1. I recommend the spectra. Be sure to keep your purchase invoice even if it's covered by insurance, that way you can get a replacement from spectra if needed.

Most people gave the spectra or medela they are the most provided. I have spent a lot of time with others seeing how their works and comparing.
If your at home and that’s your main use,
Go for the medela/spectra. I noticed the spectra is bigger but it is quiter.
If your going back to work I suggest the Lansinoh. I love it. It’s quite and portable, can do cord or battery. Fits well for pumping in the car too.
