Navy wife here and my husband and I are very much still in love and I'm not trying to get away from him! Just wanted to get that out there.

So we have been thinking about buying a house soon and the kids and I living there and my husband working as normal. Obviously we would be separated but our biggest reason for wanting this is to be able to give our kids stability. Not having to change schools every three years, making friends they can see, building a life.

Obviously we would miss daddy, and we both know it could be very difficult on our relationship and his relationship with the kids.

Does anyone have any opinions on this?

What would you do if you were in our situation?

Any military kids that would have prefered to live in one place?
