I’ve just been to the doctors as I have a very large lump as pictured in the picture below, she was quick surprised how big it was herself, she prescribed my antibiotics and said if it doesn’t go away I’ll need to go the hospital to have it cut open. I asked how long I would give the antibiotics to work before I went to the hospital and she said I’ll just know whether to go to the hospital, she said if I’m in lots of pain go straight to the hospital, the way she spoke she sounded as if she thought the antibiotics definitely weren’t going to make it go away.

I guess I’m asking a few things here,

1 - Will I seriously know when to go to hospital? It’s already quite uncomfortable/painful as is, I’m worried I’ll just ignore it and misread the signs

2 - has anyone ever had to have it removed, what’s that like?

3 - did yours go away with antibiotics, how long did it take and how big was your cyst?

Any information would be so appreciated! Seriously freaking out 😫
