My IUD Stabbed my boyfriend?!

So I’ve been having none stop bleeding and cramping. Today during sex my boyfriend felt the iud it ended up stabbing him.. should I go get checked? Is it out of place!

Irregular bleeding is the most common side effect. This includes heavier bleeding, longer bleeding, spotting, no periods, periods closer together or farther apart. Initial bleeding can last between 3 to 6 months. But irregular bleeding can occur at anytime during the use of the iud.
