Baby hates diaper changes??

Anyone else’s little one hate getting their diaper changed? He’s a mess! Kicks and screams, wines. Just hates it! And is a terror to change. Pee or poop lol. Is this developmental?

My girl always wants to kick and roll when shes pooped. Anymore it takes both my husband and i to keep her from getting it everywhere 🙄

Me too! It's a constant battle. I try to sing songs and give a toy but all she wants to do is flip over!

Mine absolutely will not lay down. We’ve resorted to stand up diaper changes in the crib to keep him contained.

I change him in my room on my bed. I turn on the tv put either his favorite episode of Elmo “peak a boo” or baby shark before I start and he stays still if he doesn’t like what’s on or if I don’t turn on the tv he’ll go crazy. So Elmo is always on during diaper changes

My boys the same...I usually give him something random to hold and it keeps him distracted (brush..lotion..anything really that he normally doesn't get to touch)

ditto...infact I am always terrified if its time for a diaper change. It takes atleast two of us to contain him and sometimes even that doesn’t work🤨.

My son used to be so good when it comes to changing diapers but as soon as he became mobile he became a disaster to change 😂 he hates putting clothes on too after his bath 🤦🏻‍♀️

We switched to easy ups when he was 7 months because it was too much. A 2 minute diaper change turned into a 15 minute WWE smackdown. My husband and I dreaded it, we'd have to tag team LO just to get him to lay down. It was horrible, I'd have to tap my husband in to finish the job because I'd lose my shit. He still puts a
up a fight, but it's not as bad as it was before, and now we usually have a 20 second delay before he realizes what's going on. I totally recommend switching to pullups if diaper changes are a struggle like ours were.
