How long did you have OHSS?

Going into my 5th week of ohss and wondered when people started to feel better? I've had it severe apparently because fresh transfer was successful 7w4d pregnant now. Fluid has begun to reduce but is very slow!

I got my eggs retrieved on Monday and I’m still so uncomfortable and I feel huge due to the water weight and fluids and bloating I can’t wait to get back to normal here. I’m so uncomfortable. My doctor wants my body to calm down before doing a transfer so after my period comes I will do a frozen transfer

Usually they don’t let you proceed with a fresh transfer if you’ve overstimulated, for this very reason... If you let your body rest and hormones to settle, it goes away relatively quickly (although that depends of how severe it was). In your case, I’ve no clue. Pregnancy does make OHSS a lot worse. I’ve had it and was told to delay transfer. Just curious, have you been told about the risks or did you just ignore it? I’ve never heard of anyone having OHSS for so long, can’t help 🤷🏻‍♀️
