when to take newborn to the grocery store?

my baby is 6 weeks old and I was wondering when is it safe to take him shopping with me to the grocery store?

I did it at 2 weeks.  She’s 8 weeks tomorrow and I’m taking her everywhere with me.

I’ve been taking my little guy. I wear him in a wrap, people do not like to get up in your face to get into theirs 👍🏼 They will ooh and aww from a  safe distance tho which is not terrible. Most of the time I’ve gotten compliments of being a great mom etc how wonderful to wear him like that. Gives you a nice pick me up 😉

I took mine at 3 days. 🤷‍♀️ he was covered and no one but us touched him unless we were sanitized. You should be fine.

We took our daughter out about a week after we came home from the hospital. I just keep her car seat mostly covered and don’t let people touch her.
