OVULATION ? HOW TO COUNT OVULATION DAYS ?

so I relied on glow to tell me the days I ovulated and it told me I ovulated on the 30th of September which  sounds right because it would be day 14 of my cycle now glow is telling me
i didn’t ovulate till the 3rd  of october . How do you count ovulation days ?  My last period started september 16th and ended the 19th . My cycle last about 28/29 days . HELP. how do you count ovulation days /make an estimate?

I would suggest using a bbt thermometer and use opk strips to test. Relying on Glow alone is not always your best source. Glow only gives you an estimate of when it *thinks* you will ovulate based on the data you put in, but I have talked to many women who said their ovulation was way off from when Glow predicted it. Test starting a few days after af and when ot gets darker you will get a positive/peak opk strip which shows your lh surge, indicating that you should ovulate within 24-35 hours (no guarantee that you actually will, unfortunately) but the only true way to confirm ovulation is with bbt temping. I agree to start BBT so there'sno guessing. A general rule of thumb is to count back 14 days from your period. 
Example if my period started April 4..14 days previous would be March 22. So BD would be planned the 18-23
