Braxton Hicks Contractions!?

What do they feel like compared to labor contractions?
When do they start?
Are they very common? 
Anyone have or not have them?

I don’t know why they say they don’t hurt because everyone’s pregnancy is different. I have a posterior placenta so when I get them, oh I get them!! And I feel it in my back! To me mine feel just like the real deal and I’m in tears, but to another person they may feel differently.

They can start as early as 6 weeks but you typically won't notice them until halfway through second trimester (or you may not notice them at all). Your uterus will tighten up and it might be harder to breath for 15-60 seconds. You may feel some pressure and/or cramping low in your pelvis at the same time. Its alot like when you are inflating a basketball that had lost some air, everything feels like its expanding and then it tapers off again. Real contractions can feel the exact same however there are some notable differences. Real contractions will have a regular pattern and slowly increase in intensity while getting closer together. They also have more of a plateau at the height of the contraction, so the most painful or tightest part of the contraction lasts almost as long as the build up and release. Real contraction pain tends to radiate more to other areas such as your back and down your thighs.

Your stomach will get really tight their not supposed to be painful but mines hurt I’m also carrying twins so that could be why. They are very common and they last for about a minute or could be a little longer
