My step mom is getting re-married next year in October. She has planned a week long vacation starting in Universal Studios, a 4 day long cruise, and her getting married on the beach and finishing the week out in California. In other words, in order for my husband and I both to attend, it’s going to be very expensive or us. This trip will cost us more money than our honeymoon did.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I want to go and so does my husband. We want to go support her and her marriage and have a fun trip, but we have a lot going on right now.

We would have to pay for the cruise by October 28th this year. So in a couple weeks. We can’t afford that right now. I just found out today that my grandma has congestive heart failure. I have hospital bills from my miscarriage to pay off, my husband just started a new position at work. My mom lives with us because of her health issues. We would have to pay for the cruise, gas to get there and back, boarding for our 8 animals, food, and much more. It’s going to be upwards of a couple thousand dollars to do this trip. I just don’t think we can do it.

I’m I the absolute worst if I tell her we won’t be able to go??
