Should I be worried ??

My last missed period would’ve put me at 9wks in this ultrasound but dr said I was measuring about 7w 3D is this not the most perfect little bean though? I feel like other ultrasounds I’ve seen of babies this early look a little more like a blob ?? Idk I read somewhere that measuring smaller is an onset sign of potential miscarriage 🥺 thoughts ??

I've always measured behind in all of my pregnancies but mainly because I ovulate late and never knew when I ovulated so I based it solely on my LMP. I've never had a miscarriage from measuring not as far along, I'm sure it will all be fine! You could have ovulated later than you thought ☺ This is the only pregnancy I've been spot on with timing because I know the day I ovulated. Good luck 💕

Did you get a heartbeat? I'm asking because my baby measured small when I had a missed miscarriage but there was also no heartbeat. If there was a heartbeat then you have nothing to worry about. You may have just ovulated late.

When you say your measuring 9 weeks is that from the day of conception or first day of your last period? It is pretty standard that first ultrasounds measure a little younger than we think they are because the docs method of measuring is from first day of last period and the ultrasound is the actual gestational age so they differ a bit

I had a similar experience and the office brought me in two weeks later to make sure things were progressing. It could mean you ovulated later than expected.

If you have no other signs of miscarriage, and the doctor didn’t say he was worried about the mismatched dates, then try to relax and enjoy the pregnancy! Babies all grow at different rates, especially in the early days :)
